TRAINING SCHOOL – Protein aggregation, intrinsic disorder and phase separation in the era of machine learning
19 – 21 April 2023 at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – i3S in Porto, Portugal
The IDPfun consortium is pleased to announce its final Training School on “Protein aggregation, intrinsic disorder and phase separation in the era of machine learning”. The event is a final dissemination activity of the project’s results It is co-organized with the H2020-funded Twinning project PhasAGE (GA 952334) and the COST Action “Non-globular proteins in the era of machine learning – ML4NGP” (CA21160) and will take place at Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology, in Porto (Portugal), 19-21 April 2023.
This event is part of projects that have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreements No 778247 and No 952334. COST is supported by the EU Framework Programme Horizon Europe
Dates
19-21 April 2023 (3-day course).
Venue
Events will be held at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – i3S of Porto.
Target trainees
Exclusive for members of the IDPfun consortium (active seconded staff members in Europe). Other applications can be forwarded to the PhasAGE consortium and ML4NGP.
Overview
This training school aims at providing participants with an overview of recent advances in computational resources and hands-on training with resources and tools for studying protein aggregation, intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) and phase separation. The event will provide participants with a wide understanding on how recent advances in protein structure prediction tools are paving the way for a more comprehensive understanding of protein function.
