The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchange project, “IDPfun2 – Integrating Novel Data, AI, and Molecular Behavior to Expand Functional Characterization of Intrinsically Disordered Proteins”, aims to enhance the study of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) by combining advanced AI technology with new data and diverse molecular contexts.
The IDPfun2 Consortium brings together seven European and five Argentinian institutions with complementary expertise in data management, machine learning, and structural biology and aims to set new standards for understanding IDPs and create a training platform for future scientists.
IDPfun2 aims to translate its findings into major international protein databases, benefiting the scientific community and advancing biomedical applications for health and disease.
The IDPfun2 Kickoff Meeting will be an opportunity to meet in presence the consortium members, present the project’s planned activities and organize the work for the first year.
The event will feature:
a two-day conference with scientific talks organized jointly with the Horizon Europe Twinning project “IDP2Biomed – Bringing Intrinsically Disordered Proteins to Biomedical Applications” (Grant Agreement 101160233) – only in presence.
The actual KoM sessions to set up the project’s activities – available for remote attendance.
